INTRO
Flynn Biara is a director, writer, and actor who channels the structure of music to inspire his storytelling. Starting at a young age, Flynn has acted in a range of shows, including Power Rangers and Short Poppies. In 2020 he earned a scholarship to TAFTA (The Australian Film and Television Academy) through a win at a film festival. And gained a certificate in Directing at AFTRS. Studying Screen Arts at Massey, in his second year his short film that he Wrote, Directed and Acted in, "Tuned Out" won Best Overall Film at the NZ Youth Film Festival in 2023. Flynn continues to craft stories with a focus on meaningful and socially impactful narratives, morphing together many different storytelling mediums to form thought provoking, cinematic and psychological experiences.
